INFORMATION:
Welcome to Los Angeles is a brand identity driven by typefaces for the county of Los Angeles. With 16 regions that make up LA county, I wanted to focus on a key word that represented the regions and cities. In a physical perspective, LA is a very wide place. It also has a wide array of cultures, identities, and communities. By creating custom typefaces that reflect the areas of LA, I was able to visualize the wide aspect in a typographic way.

Collective Perspective is an identity project for an exhibition that is held at the Long Beach Museum of Art. The exhibition has 6 artists who all create art with recycled materials. This type of art form is called recycled art because the artists take everyday objects like string or even trash to repurpose them into art. The goal of this project was to show the audience a new way of seeing things.

INFORMATION:
Soho Grotesk is a font I designed based off of multiple san serif typefaces. I wanted to test the threshold of what makes a san serif font a san serif. My process in this project was exploring combinations of different san serif fonts to see what the outcome would be. The final design was a typeface that resembles chiseled text on stones.

Notwithstanding its own strong releases each season, UNDFTD continues to pave the way for aspiring brands on how to operate and stay true to an unwavering philosophy.
